Genki Ramen & Teppanyaki — Original Tonkotsu Ramen

The interior was clean with counter seats facing the kitchen and booth seating for groups. The booth walls were decorated with lots of anime artwork, which gave the place a fun vibe.

The most memorable part of the bowl was the soup. It was too creamy with a thick texture. However, there wasn’t much the pork oil, and flavor was weak for a tonkotsu broth. The noodles reminded me of cafeteria-style ramen in Japan, with a slightly gummy texture that I didn’t really enjoy. I also feel that red pickled ginger and corn don’t go well with tonkotsu ramen. The bamboo shoots didn’t have much seasoning either.
